IsoVu is technology of carrying out measurements and the analysis of ultrabroadband and differential signals in the conditions of strong noises of a general view.

The IsoVu system from Tektronix developer uses the electrooptical sensor for transformation of an input electric signal into optical modulation for complete galvanic isolation of the analyzed device and an oscillograph. The devices which are logging in IsoVu consist of four lasers, the optical sensor, five optical fibers, a complex system of a feedback and controls. The measuring head connected to the studied point completely of an elektroizolirovan also eats using one of optical fibers. During development of this disruptive technology 10 patents were taken out.

IsoVu is the solution combining dynamic range, an opportunity for work with noises of a general view up to 2 kV with the unprecedented level of their suppression. The new technology offers important advantages to developers of supply systems based on GaN and SiC of technologies: now it is possible to see signals, before unavailable because of noises of a general view. IsoVu devices reduce the interference level a million times (120 dB of CMRR) at 100 MHz and in ten thousand times (80 dB of CMRR) at 1 GHz. For comparison, the best solutions of competitors allow to reach the level of 20 dB of CMRR (10 times) at 100 MHz.

Using IsoVu developers will be able to measure small differential signals (5 mV - 50 V) in the presence of high-voltage noises of the overall level in frequency range from a direct current to 1 GHz. IsoVu is the first solution for capture of a signal in which capability of suppression of the general noises does not fall with increase in frequency band of a signal.
