SimpliVity Rapid-DR

Rapid-DR is a product for acceleration and simplification of recovery of workloads at accidents due to automation of process for all virtual machines.

On September 6, 2016 the SimpliVity company announced release of the built-in data protection of Rapid-Dr.

This solution:

• Automates post-disaster recovery on the reserve platform in one click, minimizes interruptions of service and reduces recovery time in comparison with manual transactions more than by 70%.
• Eliminates need of costs for difficult specialized tools for post-disaster recovery and separate products for replication of data.
• Arranges planning of post-disaster recovery and process of its setup using the intuitive VM focused 5-stage graphical user interface (GUI).

The backup copies considering features of the used applications provide the improved automation and closer integration for applications of Tier-1 of 83% of clients use for work based on hyper convergent infrastructure of SimpliVity DBMS Microsoft SQL Server in this connection SimpliVity expanded for it possibilities of creation of backup copies. It will allow:

• integrate Microsoft SQL Server bases at the level of applications, automate backup and recovery for improvement of operational efficiency of IT.
• improve RPO and automate recovery process, having reduced the recovery time of the main applications.
• eliminate need of use of third-party applications of backup, having reduced total ownership cost the application.
