The STYNERGY group is engaged in production and sales of products from tonkolistny steel – a metal tile, prof floorings, the water waste systems, etc. Enters into group several divisions of the company located in Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Products of STYNERGY are made on the high-precision equipment with observance of international standards.
The warehouse of the company in Almaty has the area of 10,000 sq.m., on it about 6000 active names of goods are stored. The absence in a warehouse of the automation system was the reason of a number of the problems connected with the speed of accomplishment of warehouse transactions, accurate accounting of products and influence of "a human factor".
The planned implementation of the 1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management software product had to allow to leave gradually from "paper technology" of work, to enter address storage of goods, to minimize dependence on personnel and to increase the processing speed of orders. For project implementation the AXELOT company was invited.
During implementation of "1C: WMS" a system was customized for work with console racks which are used for warehousing of lengthy, large-size and non-standard loads. Lot-based accounting is entered, analysis of compound barcodes is smoothly running, marking of storage locations is implemented. Also ABC analysis of trade inventories on degree of importance was made and the functional unit of personnel management is optimized.
Implementation of process of reservation of goods under the specific client became one of features of the project. It helps to avoid pads with selection of the same goods at parallel orders. In the 1C: WMS system information on the appointed client registers in a batch at its acceptance. The feature for the manual choice of specific gate on shipment at accomplishment of the transaction "Order for Shipment" is also added. As in a warehouse electronic boards are used, the operator via "1C: WMS" can bring to them now numbers of machines which should leave for loading.
As a result of implementation of "1C: WMS" in the warehouse STYNERGY all transactions were automated, their accomplishment is controlled by WMS. Information on a goods remaining balance is available in real time now. Considerable decrease in dependence on personnel is observed, the analytics for calculation of motivation of employees gathers. The quality and speed of assembly of goods are increased, the system of address storage is introduced.
Thanks to it performance of work of a warehouse in general grew: the number of the orders shipped in a day increased, and search of goods in a remaining balance of a warehouse is performed much quicker.
