Rostelecom completed the construction of customs infrastructure of the Lotus SEZ

Rostelecom announced in September, 2016 completion of works on creation of objects of customs infrastructure of the Lotus special economic zone. The contract provided delivery and installation of surveillance cameras, server and telecommunication equipment and also the organization of communication channels for consolidation of customs posts of the railway, water and motor transport in uniform infrastructure with a possibility of inclusion in a single network of the Astrakhan customs.

The CEO of PJSC SEZ Lotos Sergey Milushkin told: "Technically customs posts, all infrastructure for their work it is ready. Communication channels are constructed, the round-the-clock video surveillance on automobile, railway posts, from water is provided. The image is broadcast on the screen of the employee of the central post, in management of the Astrakhan customs. We are going to introduce until the end of September the regime of the free customs zone for our anchor resident of shipbuilding plant "Lotos". Development of customs infrastructure will continue in process of an exit of residents to the platform of the SEZ, taking into account the volume of loads necessary for them and terms".
