Slavyanka upgraded work of warehouse

On September 9, 2016 the Solvo company announced project completion of implementation of Solvo.WMS on a finished goods warehouse of Slavyanka Group.

Project Tasks

The warehouse complex is conditionally separated into four sections:

• two zones for product acceptance from production;
• zone for a complete set and shipment (in a car - and railway transport);
• additional warehouse for storage of products arriving from external suppliers (from the plants of other regions) and own products from other productions of the city.

Features of a warehouse - the high goods turnover and frequent "peretarennost" causing the necessity to store goods in passes between frontal racks, need of control of cargo transfer between each of sections in the company made the decision to implement the solution in the standard configuration "Solvo.WMS for warehouse GP of manufacturing enterprise" with the minimum amount of completions.

Project Progress

For ensuring interaction of personnel and the system in real time of Solvo organized a wireless network, set and configured data collection terminals of Datalogic Scorpio X3.

Project Results

At the exit from production the warehouse receives the created pallets with the cargo labels pasted on them which barcode contains information on goods, consignment, date of development and the number of boxes in a pallet. With implementation Solvo.WMS became possible to simplify acceptance process, by means of technology of "the accelerated acceptance by the barcode".

Implementation of mobile jobs on the shipping documentation considerably facilitated work of employees of a warehouse, including employees with limited opportunities.
