2018: Liquidation

By the Decree of the Governor of the Region of October 26, 2018 No. 61-UG "On Amendments to the Structure of Executive Authorities of the Pskov Region and the Structure of the Apparatus of the Administration of the Pskov Region"^[1] Region, the State Department for Communications and Mass Communications of the Pskov Region has been liquidated. The exercise of state-power powers of an executive and administrative nature in the field of public telecommunication and postal communications, the development of information technologies, printing, printing, broadcasting and mass media was entrusted to the Administration of the Pskov Region.

2015: Activities of the State Department for Communications and Mass Communications of the Pskov Region

In accordance with the Decree of the Regional Administration of May 25, 2015 No. 249^[2], the main tasks of the State Department were:

1. Planning, development and implementation of the state policy of the region in the field of printing, printing, broadcasting, mass media;

2. Formation of a unified information space of the region, support and development of regional media resources;

3. Development and implementation of measures for social advertising of socially significant projects of all-Russian and regional significance, implemented by the executive authorities of the region, local authorities of the region;

4. Interaction with the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Media on the organization of media activities, licensing of television broadcasting and broadcasting, activities in the field of communications for broadcasting purposes;

5. Control over the effective activities of state unitary enterprises of the region subordinate to the State Administration.
