The Rautakesko company, as a part of holding, integrates more than 350 DIY shops under the K-Rauta and Rautia brands in Scandinavia and the Baltics. Rautakesko turnover in 2005 — 1.58 billion euros.

In November, 2015 it became known of purchase of Suomen lähikauppa Oy company by holding (640 Siwa and Valintatalo shops) for €60 million.

Business in Russia

In July, 2005 the company purchased five shops "Stroymaster" in St. Petersburg, approximately for $20 million.

Since August, 2006 these shops work under the name of "K-reception" (for 2016 in St. Petersburg under this brand nine hypermarkets work).

In March, 2009 the regional shop of "K-reception" in Yaroslavl opened.

In March, 2010 the regional shop of "K-reception" in Tula opened.

In April, 2010 the regional shop of "K-reception" in Kaluga opened.

In the fall of 2011 the regional shop of "K-reception" in Moscow opened.

In 2016 Kesko purchased Onninen company for €369 million.
