Project completion of SAP implementation of ERP on HANA on 14 platforms of Petelino trading house is announced

In September, 2016 SAP CIS and the Cherkizovo Group, vertically integrated producer of meat products and compound feeds, announced end of the large-scale project on SAP implementation of ERP on the HANA platform once on 14 platforms of Petelino trading house. The project is implemented with assistance of SAP Digital Business Services and implementations in the food industry in Russia became one of the largest in terms of the scope of.

The Cherkizovo group is a producer of category "ultra-juice", and it means that sales process and planning for it should be thought over and automated to the smallest parts. The products "ultra-juice" should get on shelves of shops within a day, and for this purpose it is necessary to create the system of quick response to key questions: what products and on what platform to make for the specific client and how optimum to bring her to the buyer to execute the order in time and to save freshness and goods quality. SAP implementation of ERP was also aimed at the solution of these priority business challenges.

About the first results: it was succeeded to automate work with federal networks, to improve satisfaction of the sales demand of Service Level, to create the unified information system allowing to accelerate process of acceptance of exact and timely management decisions. As a result of steel analytical tools are available to sales management, planning and control of marketing actions; supply chains under each client are optimized; process of automatic control of existence of goods in a warehouse and the term of its validity is built; there was an opportunity to effectively keep track of primary demand and as much as possible to satisfy it.

Also it was succeeded to optimize twice number of staff when booking from federal networks thanks to what at the expense of the released resources the efficiency of other blocks was increased. Order processing time was reduced by 1.5 times. Besides, the extra works increasing quality of already existing systems were carried out: bilateral exchange of documents between retail chain stores with which Cherkizovo cooperates is completely automated.
