Nokian Tyres completed an implementation project of the warehouse management system Manhattan SCALE

On September 20, 2016 Corus Consulting Group announced project completion of system implementation of management of the warehouse Manhattan SCALE in Nokian Tyres company.

Choosing a Solution

In September, 2015 the project of automation of the distribution center Nokian Tyres started. CORUS Consulting Group, the exclusive partner of Manhattan Associates in the territory of Russia and the CIS acted as the partner in implementation of the WMS system of Manhattan SCALE.

Replacement of a warehouse management system was caused, first of all, by plans of future development of the company and also integration and functionality of the WMS system.

Rich project experience of Corus Consulting Group regarding automation of warehouses and integration of IT systems also served as one of decisive factors when choosing the partner and supplier of the solution.

In addition to automation of key warehouse processes and transactions on a finished goods warehouse, WMS had to give ample opportunities for the independent analysis by parameters, provide deep integration with other IT systems and the equipment and also to serve as the base for creation of schedule system and supply chain management of the plant. The selected solution Manhattan SCALE fully met the stated requirements and allowed to implement a number of special completions taking into account specifics of Nokian Tyres.

Project Results

The project was performed in strict compliance to the stated plan and an implementation methodology of the solutions Manhattan Associates. The direct plant's management and also representatives of the central office of Nokian Tyres concern actively took part in project implementation.
