"VTB Specialized depositary" implemented IT infrastructure means of protecting

On September 27, 2016 the Code of Security company announced software implementation of Secret Net Studio in IT infrastructure of VTB Specialized Depositary Ltd. The contractor in the project Datasistem company.

Project Tasks

All business processes of the organization customer depend on information - it is necessary, and for risk reduction in process decision making, and in development of strategy. Taking into account specifics of business, a problem of security of infrastructure and data for depositary - one of priority.

The organization was faced by a problem of upgrade of an information security system. Means for complex security of computers and servers was required. As a result made the decision on product introduction of Secret Net Studio. Delivery and the information security facility installation were executed by Datasistem company.

Project Results

For September 26, 2016 under protection of Secret Net Studio more than 100 workstations and servers of depositary work. System implementation helped to organize protection against external and internal threats:

• accidental or malicious actions of employees:
  • copying of documents of confidential character on USB,
  • printing,
  • loss of notebooks with corporate data,

• actions of malefactors:
  • viruses and unauthorized activity of applications,
  • threats of access to corporate resources from the employees working far off.

Depending on the rights of certain users and the access level to files and folders (including on USB and and disks) VTB the Specialized depositary had an opportunity to configure up to 16 levels of confidentiality.

If earlier we had to configure and support 3-5 means of protecting at each workstation, then with implementation of Secret Net Studio the majority of problems of security of information managed to be closed using only one product. Besides, the overall level of security raised thanks to lack of the conflicts of means of protecting. So far we could neutralize such risks and in general increase efficiency of actions of administrators - due to interaction with uniform technical support and thin settings of system management.
