"Admiral" installed full-color the Xerox Versant 180 Press CFM 

On April 10, 2018 the Xerox company announced installation full-color the Xerox Versant 180 Press CFM  in Admiral Printing house. It helped the company to increase quality and to expand the range of products.

Tasks

In the regional market the Admiral company constantly upgrades the polygraphic base. The purposes of the next stage of upgrade were:

• reducing costs for production,
• automation of setup of the equipment,
• quality improvement of products,
• processing of orders unavailable earlier at the expense of range extension of the used materials.

Solution

Xerox Versant 180 Press provides high quality of printing thanks to Ultra HD technology and depth of color of 10 bits which increase detailing of images, provide smoothness of tone transitions and excellent transfer of gradients. Besides, with machine the Admiral company had an opportunity to print on materials with a density up to 350 g/m2 with assistance of sheets of a format up to 330x660 mm.

Xerox Versant 180 Press allows the company to execute quickly orders thanks to a print speed of 80 pages per minute, constructive solutions and functions of automation. The module of straightening of material (Smart Decurler Module) which is built in the highway of paper prevents twisting of sheets, including at automatic two-sided printing. Simple Image Quality Adjustment provides automatic adjustment of a register mark by 12 parameters, including a distortion, a trapeze and shrinkage of paper and also setup of currents of transfer on complex materials, such as cardboard, plastic, textured and design paper. The exact register mark is also provided by Registration Alignment technology.

Results

Thanks to the CFM in printing house printing quality increased, the range of the made products extended and print cost fell. Besides, the company had additional opportunities of industrial automation. As a result Admiral took surer positions in the regional polygraphic market.
