In Ukraine hotel the WiFi-network based on solutions of Cisco is set

NVision Group which is a part of PJSC Mobile TeleSystems – the telecommunication operator of Russia, announced in September, 2016 project implementation of upgrade of Wi-Fi-network within providing convergent services of fixed connection and wireless Internet access for Ukraine hotel (Radisson Royal Hotel, Moscow).

For providing uninterrupted and high-speed data transmission on a wireless network in the number of rooms of hotel 360 additional access points of Cisco Aironet of series 700W with simultaneous support of RF spectrums of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz were set. This solution helped to avoid costs for laying of a new structured cabling system and to save a possibility of wire connection.

Control function of wireless access by network is implemented on a bundle from two productive Cisco controllers of series 5500 which provide availability and protection of a radiosreda with the subsequent elimination of influence of noises, provide high-performance, well-tried remedies of video streaming and a possibility of a high-quality voice communication and also the improved recovery after failures for the coordinated work of mobile applications. The available wireless infrastructure is connected to controllers, providing seamless roaming between access points of new and previous generation across all territory of hotel.

Within the project the new gigabit Cisco switches Catalyst of the 2960-X series of local production simplifying process of implementation of new solutions in network were also installed, reducing operating costs and total cost of ownership.

For strategy implementation of permanent improvement of services were provided to IT department in the test of the license Cisco Prime Infrastructure ‒ packaged solution for convergent management of complete lifecycle of wired and wireless networks.

At construction of the Congress park of Ukraine hotel also other solutions of Cisco company were also selected. "We were faced by a difficult task – to provide a powerful mobile network with a high density of users, more than 2000 devices in the territory with a total area of 1800 sq.m. For this purpose we selected access points of Cisco® Aironet of series 2600. Points are set in zapotolochny space, and antennas are directed strictly down for ensuring uninterrupted distribution of a signal", - Denis Doktorov, the Chief information officer noted.
