The PFC CSKA completed creation of telecommunication infrastructure of the arena

On October 5, 2016 the Avaya company announced project implementation of creation of telecommunication infrastructure on CSKA arena. All telecommunication infrastructure of stadium is created by Beltel system integrator on the basis of Avaya technologies.

Project Tasks

The arena of CSKA is created for simultaneous presence of 30 thousand audience. At this stadium world-class sporting events will be held. When choosing IT solutions for this object, the customer was guided by reliability criterions, fault tolerances, simplicity of management and economic feasibility.

Project Results

The Local Computer Network (LCN) of stadium organized on architecture of Avaya SDN-Fx created conditions for wire and wireless internet access for workers, tenants and visitors of stadium and ensures functioning of the IP telephony, serves as reference network for the main engineering systems of stadium:

  • video surveillance systems,
  • ACS,
  • SOUE,
  • KSB,
  • master clock systems,
  • parking payment systems,
  • monitoring systems of engineering constructions,
  • display systems of a video information and IPTV.

Trunk part of a LAN is organized on the Avaya Virtual Services Platform switches of the VSP 7200 and VSP4000 series using Shortest Path Bridging technology (SPB, IEEE 802.1ah/802.1aq). All principal components of a LAN are completely redundant - the Shortest Path Bridging technology does possible active use of all switches and communication lines of network in the load distribution mode. In case of refusal a system provides fast evolution of logical network topology with preserving of functionality of services.

At the access level the Avaya switches of the ERS 3500 series connected by the duplicated connections to redundant switches of level of distribution by the SMLT/vIST (MLAG) technology providing fault tolerance and load distribution on trunk lines are used.

For creation of telephony of stadium the Avaya Communication Manager R6 platform, single solution for traditional analog, digital and IP communication devices is selected from the communication environment.

Avaya is a technology partner of many sports events in the world, such as: Olympic Games Vancouver-2010 and "Sochi-2014", FIFA World Cup of 2002, FIFA World Cup of 2006. Today our command participates in the course of preparation for the FIFA World Cup of 2018 in Russia. When it comes about use of uniform IT infrastructure for different services at stadium, both administrative, and guest, solutions of Avaya are selected as proved from the best side on reliability and efficiency. Creation of IT infrastructure at CSKA stadium in Moscow together with our partner – Beltel company – one more example of successful use of Avaya technologies on world-class sporting venues.

I am sure that emergence of new sporting venues will positively affect development of domestic soccer which traditionally enjoys popularity at the Russian fans. The modern technological solutions applied at construction of stadium, including the advanced telecommunication solutions of Avaya delivered by our company allowed new stadium to take a place of honor among sports constructions of the international level.
