On October 10, 2016 the Axelot company announced project completion on automation of a warehouse of Meridian company.
Choosing a Solution
The company management made the decision on automation of the warehouse of food products which is in Moscow and containing about 4 thousand active descriptions of goods. For implementation the 1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management 4.0 software product was selected, and the Axelot company became the contractor of the project.
Project Tasks
Project tasks included automation of all basic warehouse processes. It was required to optimize space usage of a warehouse, to increase performance of work of personnel and quality of order processing. Also the functionality was necessary for the company for work with weight goods. Rotation of products in a warehouse had to be performed by the principle of FEFO (First Expire, First Out), i.e., with control of residual expiration dates, told in the company.
Project Progress
In the course of automation of the warehouse "1C: WMS" it was integrated with "1C: Trade Management", a corporate information system of the client. Integration was performed by means of the Axelot Datareon ESB software product and, on a response of the customer, allowed to provide stability and completeness of information exchange between the accounting systems of the company, to increase the overall performance of information circuit and also to guarantee stable access to up-to-date data about stock balance.
Project Results
Full automation of a warehouse according to all its specifics and customer requirements became a result of the project. All effective objectives were achieved, emphasized in Axelot. "1C: WMS" provides rational management of warehouse processes that is extremely important for business of steadily developing company. "1C: WMS" allows the company to control accurately a residual expiration date of the goods placed by the principle of FEFO.
