Veeam FastSCP for VMware ESX Server is a product for delivery of the ISO files to the ESX servers or copyings of virtual machines and templates from one ESX server on another.
FastSCP executes copying of files from one ESX server on another and within one ESX server. Copying is made quickly and safely does not require change of settings or configurations. FastSCP supports copying, both from the server on the server, and within one server.
- Copying from the server on the server: files are copied directly from one ESX server on another. At the same time the computer of the client is not used since FastSCP establishes direct link between ESX servers.
- Copying within the server: files are copied within one ESX server. The FastSCP interface reminding Windows Explorer allows to copy and move files without the need for loading them on the computer of the client or an input to ESX by means of the client of SSH.
FastSCP is available and as a separate product, and as a part of Veeam Backup & Replication.
