In Agroterr examination of IT infrastructure is conducted

In the spring of 218 the ITERBI company within the Microsoft SAM Services program completed the SAM Cloud Productivity project in Agroterra group. The project allows to analyze and estimate readiness, efficiency and expediency of migration of local infrastructure at a cloud environment.

In a month specialists of ITERBI provided the accurate information on a current status of IT infrastructure, developed the recommendations about optimization and the choice of the suitable program of corporate licensing, improvement of level of processes of management of IT assets in general.

Within the project consultants of ITERBI conducted complete examination of IT infrastructure of the Customer, including workstations and servers that allowed to define a current status of the unrolled software. On the basis of collected information ten possible scenarios of further licensing were developed. A half of them turned on migration on cloud services by which consideration special attention was paid to increase in level of information security, availability of server capacities and scalability of infrastructure. Two most interesting scenarios considering possibilities of optimization of IT infrastructure are selected.

One of features of activity of Agroterra company — interaction with users in different regions of the Russian Federation. The company includes 32 geographically distributed economy, develops a partner network, integrating the adjoining small and average agroproducers. Therefore when calculating scenarios consultants of ITERBI paid special attention to search of opportunities of optimization of IT infrastructure regarding software products of Microsoft for obtaining strategic advantage due to flexibility and efficiency of IT systems when using cloud services. Transition to a cloud should provide permanent availability of servers to any of these regions and also simplify process of scalability in case of growth of number of users in any of them, increase information security.

2016

On October 13, 2016 the ITERBI company announced an implementation project of technology of management of program assets in IT infrastructure of Agroterra Group.

Project Tasks

Project Results

By means of deep immersion in the purposes and the customer's tasks, training was provided on the adapted program, was followed by practical recommendations in relation to the customer's situation. Except SAM technology questions of licensing of products of Microsoft were considered, practical tasks and examples understood.

The contractor developed the personalized training course integrating in itself two programs for Agroterra Group: "Licensing of products of Microsoft" and "Management of program assets at the enterprise (SAM)"

Training

In November, 2016 ITERBI implemented the project on training of SAM technology (Software Asset Management) of specialists of Agroterr, one of the leading Russian crop companies.

The course program was adapted by specialists of ITERBI with accounting of the purposes and customer's tasks, training was followed by practical recommendations in relation to a specific situation of Agroterr. Except SAM technology specialists considered questions of licensing of products of Microsoft, sorted practical tasks and examples. The rate integrated in itself two programs: "Licensing of products of Microsoft" and "Management of program assets at the enterprise (Software Asset Management, SAM)".
