United Shipbuilding Corporation implemented a control system and monitoring of exclusive access

On October 14, 2016 the IT Bastion company announced implementation and start in operation of a control system and monitoring of exclusive access to infrastructure facilities on the platform of technologies of Wallix company in United Shipbuilding Corporation company.

Project Tasks

United Shipbuilding Corporation is the large subject of defense industry complex of Russia integrating about four tens design bureaus and shipyards projecting and building submarines, warships, the different naval equipment and civil vessels. In information space of the corporate center of the company the information containing the data making different types of secrets, and belonging to different owners circulates. Data protection in an information system of society is organized according to requirements of the regulator – FSTEC of Russia. At the same time for the purpose of protection updating we are always open for implementation in addition to basic measures of modern effective solutions in information security field. For the purpose of risk minimization, the privileged users connected with actions, the company began the project on creation of a control system, monitoring and audit of exclusive access to objects of an information system of the main society of corporation allowing to identify unambiguously the user and also his actions in a system. As a technology platform the solution Wallix AdminBastion is selected.

Project Results

Implementation is executed on technology platforms of offices of the OSK corporate center in St. Petersburg and Moscow.

The security service received the automated instrument of monitoring in real time of actions of workers with exclusive access rights to IT infrastructure objects. Time necessary for specialists for the analysis and taking measures to liquidation of the situations which led to failure in IT infrastructure significantly decreased. Criminal Police Service helped to reduce resources of corporation by investigation of incidents of information security.

This project sign not only for us, but also for the domestic market in general. This practical confirmation of that fact that the problem of control of actions of privileged users is accepted to attention at the level of leaders of domestic high technology production. For customers of such level of an effect from destructive actions can be especially high, and the modern technologies conforming to all requirements of the Russian legislation are necessary for ensuring protection.
