2019

The PROD TAG 711 tracker with support of zone positioning and a geofensing

On October 2, 2019 the RealTrac company announced the PROD TAG 711 Tag the output of the equipment for mountain production and industry. It is an optimal variant for the companies with already unrolled Wi-fi network which need a combination of global and zone positioning. It allows to create a hybrid monitoring system and control of personnel. For example, the staff of the mining enterprise in career can be positioned using navigation satellites, and at an input to the placement or on the open area within radio visibility of zone access point of the RealTrac system — by means of the system of zone positioning.

One more innovation — a geofensing — will help to warn the employee about danger even in the absence of contact with the server. Coordinates of dangerous zones and zones with the limited access level which are stored in memory of the tracker are loaded into the tracker on a wireless communication link. At intersection of virtual "border" of a zone the employee receives the notification on an input on the prohibited territory (or on the contrary, about an exit for limits of the geozone). Thanks to the repeating threefold signal (a sound, vibration, light) the notification with high probability will be received even in the presence of strong extraneous noises, for example, near the working mountain or industrial equipment. If contact with the server is available, along with the employee the notification on an input in a forbidden band / an exit from an object is received by the operator the manager of a system.

Also now the RealTrac system supports integration with Wialon that is relevant for the companies which already use this product and want to control employees and transport in the single interface. The RealTrac system transfers data on location of objects in the Wialon interface and now it can be used for creation of analytical reports and integration with other products and monitoring systems.

The PROD TAG 711 tracker saved all advantages of the previous 700 versions. At the device the dustproof and moisture-proof body (degree of protection of IP67), the clear display with indicators and buttons, including the manager, disturbing for the emergency notification. At danger the manager can also send to notification trackers, and employees to confirm receiving with clicking of the button. At the same time we considered wishes of our clients and in the 711th tracker implemented functionality of a geofensing that allowed to offer a product of other level. Now miners will always be in security irrespective of whether there is a communication with the North and whether WiFi works. At the same time our zone positioning does trackers 710 and 711 to more universal. It allows to create a flexible monitoring system which will cover all locations and will ensure safety of personnel even at total absence of communication,

Access points of PROD POINT 510 and PROD POINT 515

In August, 2019 the RealTrac company reported that in a line of the PROD equipment of RealTrac two access points are provided.

These access points became logical continuation of a line of the equipment intended for operation on industrial facilities and in mines. They not only conform to requirements of the Order of Rostekhnadzor No. 599 regarding positioning accuracy, but also significantly exceed the solutions on the level of interference protection and range of a voice communication which are already presented at the market.

Radius of detection of the personal tag at zone positioning is increased up to 250 meters, and the accuracy of zone positioning is 20 meters. It completely conforms to the requirement of the Order of Rostekhnadzor No. 599 to the technical means and the systems of industrial security solving problems of ensuring communication, the notification and position fix of personnel:

determination of fix-up values of each worker in excavations should be provided in real time (the data-refresh period on the scheme of the mine should be no more than 5 c) with the resolution of ±20 m.

The positioning accuracy provided with access point of PROD POINT 515 in the mode of exact positioning is 0.1-1 m. At the same time range between the access points working in the mine in the mode of exact positioning is increased about 200 meters that allows to optimize infrastructure in the mine.

These access points allow to implement also other requirements of the legislation. Automatic and manual confirmations of notifications on accident of the people who are underground in all zones of underground excavations concern them. Also record of location of personnel for ensuring quick search of people under blockages is performed — at emergence of an emergency situation it is always possible to look who and where was in specific timepoint. By the way, for emergency situations the degree of protection of the IP67 body confirming readiness of the equipment for extreme operating conditions is of particular importance.

Thanks to portable antennas and improvement of algorithms of data exchange between tags and mine access point, in a system it was succeeded to exclude a possibility of noises practically. In zone positioning of RealTrac Technologies completely refused use of BLE and passed frequency range to UHF that considerably improved the range of positioning of tags, their quantity in one network segment and also allowed to solve the conflicts with the equipment working in the range of 2.4 GHz.

Access points of PROD POINT 510 and PROD POINT 515 are completely ready to transparent integration with the systems of a voice communication RealTrac Voice. The voice signal surely is accepted using the personal radio set at the range up to 250 meters — it corresponds to the radius of detection of the tag at zone positioning. Additional investments in infrastructure and the server hardware will not be required. If the enterprise decides to add the voice communication established in the mine to the RealTrac system, then it just purchases radio stations and also the license for the module "Voice communication".

As well as all equipment of a line of PROD, access point of PROD POINT 510 and PROD POINT 515 have degree of protection of the IP65/IP67 body. PROD POINT 510 is executed in the metal body and provides zone positioning, PROD POINT 515 — in the body from heavy-duty polymer and, in addition to zone, gives the chance of exact positioning.

In addition to the requirement of Order No. 599 at product development in RealTrac Technologies is guided also by high market demands. Therefore we not simply provide zone positioning with an accuracy of 20 meters, but also we give the chance of switching to more exact — up to 1 meter, not simply we guarantee a bidirectional voice communication, but also we save it from noises at range to 250 meters. The PROD TAG 710 tracker with support of LoRa technology

On March 5, 2019 the RealTrac company reported that the product "RealTrac Positioning" is complemented with the equipment using LoRa technology (from engl. Long Range) is a technology and the method of modulation of the same name patented by Semtech company. The personal device for position fix of personnel – the PROD TAG 710 tracker and the base station of LoRa is added to a product. It allows to position personnel in the territory of the enterprise with an accuracy of 3 meters and to transfer data on location from the tracker to the base station at distance to 3 kilometers.

According to the producer, the equipment will be demanded in the companies with dangerous working conditions – for example, at production and processing of minerals as the requirement to define location of miners contains in the order of Rostekhnadzor No. 599 of 12/11/2013. Taking into account needs of mining and industrial enterprises the RealTrac Technologies company developed the device with LoRa support.

According to the statement of RealTrac, the main difference of the provided equipment is an opportunity to work "from a box" therefore there is no need to set up the equipment and to carry out expensive installation works. To start system operation of positioning it is necessary to set and connect LoRa the station, to turn on the PROD TAG 710 trackers and to configure data transmission on the server of a system of positioning RealTrac. Use of the principle of the boxed solution allows to unroll the system of positioning of personnel within only one-two days.

RealTrac considers that the LoRa technology has several advantages in comparison with Wi-Fi or GSM solutions. So, in comparison with Wi-Fi, she provides data transmission on long distances and does not demand creation of expensive infrastructure at the enterprise. And unlike use of GSM solutions, the LoRa technology will cost noticeably cheaper as does not require a monthly subscription fee. Operation of trackers with support of LoRa technology requires the minimum quantity of active equipment – no more than 1-2 base stations of LoRa. At the same time, it is possible to develop stations in any place: both in the territory of mineral extraction or technology roads, and on the overworking and production sites. One base station of LoRa is capable to cover with a data network to 50 sq.km and does not require obtaining licenses to use of radio frequencies. It, according to the producer, is especially important at the solution of a problem of monitoring of personnel in the huge territory of the mining enterprise.

The PROD TAG 710 tracker has a class of protection of the IP67 body, the convenient display with indicators and buttons. In case of a dangerous situation the manager can send the notification to the tracker, and the miner can confirm acceptance of the message, having clicked one of tracker buttons. The miner can also use the disturbing button on the device for the notification of the manager about emergence of a dangerous situation, emphasized in RealTrac.

As noted in RealTrac, the tracker, along with access points and the professional software for managers and heads, is a component of the product "RealTrac Positioning". According to information for March, 2019, the product is already delivered within solutions RealTrac "Karyer", RealTrac "Proizvodstvo" and RealTrac "Logistics". It can be integrated with other systems of the enterprise – for example, with systems personnel records or schedulings.

2018: Version 3.2. Increase in level of industrial security

On November 22, 2018 RealTrac reported that for the purpose of continuous control of actions of personnel and the mobile equipment in the software of the RealTrac system of version 3.2 function of consolidation of objects in dynamic groups appeared. It helps to trace the events happening to them in several zones of control at once and to receive instant notifications according to user preferences. For example, about movement of workers from one territory on another, about battery power level in personal trackers, etc.

RealTrac of version 3.2

The following significant addition is the designer allowing to create individual reports on the basis of SQL queries. Users of a system can set individual parameters of future report and obtain only that information which is necessary for them from the database. In the course of report generation it is possible to browse previously result, to adjust initial requests and to edit a final type of information representation.

Along with it, in the software of RealTrac 3.2 opportunities for work with transfer of a substrate on the defined points appeared. Advanced functionality allows to configure a distance between points and to set the required scale of a substrate in any format. First of all, it is necessary for control of a situation in facilities for production of minerals. As in working conditions on extensive squares it is not always possible to define exact location of this or that reference point or distance between two deleted, on long distance objects.

In the provided version of RealTrac interfaces of the modules "Communication" and "Card" also underwent changes. Now, due to advanced design, to managers and operators began to work more simply and more conveniently in a system.

2017

Release of version 3.1

RTL Service Group in November, 2017 submitted the next version of a security system for mining industry, the production and logistic companies. On assurances of developers, in RealTrac 3.1 there were more opportunities for control of the events at the enterprises and business intelligence tools appeared.

The RealTrac Positioning system was updated to version 3.1

The company notes that changes affected practically all RealTrac components which at the same time solves problems of increase in security and business process optimization.

So, in the product "RealTrac Positioning" the web interface with quick search of any entity on each property — whether it be the employee, the tag or the radio set is updated.

Now to clients well 3D - positioning of employees and transport in one building on different floors and also at the different levels of one floor. It is necessary for industrial enterprises with a complex geometry of premises and consisting of several production levels united in one workshop.

And here in the interface of the module "Notifications and Events" all events began to be divided into three groups — depending on importance. It is made in order that the manager understood at once what events are essential or critical, quickly reacted to them, could send messages about a dangerous situation and request the help. If an event critical, the manager has to confirm that he is aware of a situation and to take measures according to the approved regulations. A system will record a response time for further objective investigation of an incident.

RealTrac 3.1. Interface of the manager

In a system SCADA logic appeared. It is made in order that customers could create business processes on work with information arriving from subjects to remote control. On the basis of data of SCADA managers can trace as business processes are performed and to build the corresponding reports. The received analytics as a result can be used for optimization of activity of the company.

For work with reports, including on the basis of SCADA logic, in the version of system 3.1 the designer of reports appeared. Different report versions allow to estimate, how correctly there was a territory bypass as technology process was executed or as long an object was in certain zones. These and other reports should help to improve internal processes of the enterprise — for example, within implementation of the concept of lean production.

Also use of positioning of personnel, SCADA logic and reports allows to refuse use of low technologies and approaches in the form of check-points, magazines of visit, RFID считываетелей and at the same time to receive all analytics about visit of different zones and time of stay in them.

According to representatives "RTL Service", updating of a system is intended to broaden the sphere of its application. Also the company is going to work more intensively at international markets where special attention is paid on capability of the similar systems to help to optimize business processes.

Division of the RealTrac family

On April 12, 2017 the Service RTL company announced separation of the equipment of the RealTrac system into three lines. The company explained the reasons of such step with care of the clients: all equipment is classified by zones in which for use it is intended.

As a result of segmentation three lines are selected:

  • BASE is held for use in normal premises – warehouses, offices, hospitals. The equipment of a line of BASE is protected from dust and hit of splashes (degree of protection of the IP54 body). As a part of this line products:

The patent for technology of positioning of an object indoors and in open territories

RTL Service Group took out the patent for the innovative and high-precision technology of position fix of an object in premises and in open territories. The solid team of qualified specialists was engaged in creation of this development. The patent was granted by the Eurasian patent organization (EAPO).

The principle of work of the patented technology

Indoors, on the open area or any other object several access points which in the automatic mode at the same time define distance to the tag are established. Thanks to unique analytical algorithms a system on measurements from three access points (taking into account signal intensity, time of its passing and other parameters) calculates provision of the moving tag with an accuracy of 1 meter. It should be noted that all calculations are executed it is automated on the server, and data retrieveds for more informative giving are visualized on the virtual card of an object.

What features does this technology have?

First of all the patented system of local positioning can brag considerably of bigger efficiency and accuracy of position fix in premises objects and in open territories where application of the global navigation satellite systems is impossible or difficult.

2016: System of local positioning of objects of new generation of RealTrac 3.0

RTL-service Group submitted the RealTrac 3.0 system in November - it is building block system of position fix of personnel, transport and the equipment in the enclosed space, underground and in open territories where use of the traditional systems of global positioning is impossible.

In addition it was succeeded to reduce dependence of separate components of a system from each other that increased stability of work and simplified development and support of components of a system.
