Liberti Strakhovaniye implemented means of protecting of virtual infrastructure

On October 19, 2016 the Code of Security company delivered the product vGate Enterprise as means of protecting of corporate virtual infrastructure of Liberti Strakhovaniye.

Before the company there were tasks:

• increase security of the virtualization platform on which information systems are organized,
• provide the strengthened access control of specialists of the company to systems and data,
• fulfill the requirements of regulators
• implement the system of continuous monitoring of security of virtual infrastructure.

Liberti Strakhovaniye looked for for protection of virtual infrastructure in data processing centers the technological solution. The means of protecting taking into account features of architecture of DPC which are not requiring a reconfiguration of platforms, quickly developed and configured were required. The insurance company selected the product vGate.

Project Results

For October 19, 2016 under protection of vGate two data processing centers of Liberti Strakhovaniye, in St. Petersburg and Moscow function. By means of vGate access control to virtual infrastructure and monitoring of actions of privileged users is conducted, segmentation of the virtualization platform is executed and the protected interaction between its components, automatic thin adjustment of protection gears on hosts, virtual machines and components of control of the virtualization platform is provided.

In 2016 there was a new version of means of protecting of vGate 3.0. Support of difficult, geographically distributed infrastructures of virtualization and ensuring even more reliable functioning of means of protecting was the purpose of release of edition Enterprise. According to the results of the first months of implementation we see demand of this functionality in the market and we receive positive responses of the customers who were already in time to test and implement this solution. Besides, many organizations applying vGate pass from edition Standard to Enterprise – for expansion of available functionality.
