HPE OfficeConnect 1920
OfficeConnect 1920 is a line of the web managed Ethernet switches with the fixed number of ports.
Switches of the HPE 1920 series - a part of a line of HPE OfficeConnect, are focused on the small organizations in which applications with high requirements to capacity are used. Devices are suitable for an environment where enhanced capabilities of exact management, flexibility and intellectual functions for simplicity of setup and administration of network are required.
Devices of the HPE 1920 series are switches with intellectual management, expanded functions and the fixed configuration. Can be equipped with from 8 to 48 PoE ports + and support IPv6 protocol.
Features
Switches of the HPE 1920 series — for the small organizations, are completely ready to work.
Devices of this series provide a full range of opportunities for increase in flexibility. A series consists of nine models with internal power supplies for installation in a rack — four models without support of Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology with 8, 16, 24 both 48 Gigabit ports and 5 models with support of PoE+: 2 models with 8 ports of Gbps, 2 models with 24 ports and one 48 Gbps.
For convenience of deployment, administration and control of principal components of these switches the web interface is used.
Switches of the HPE 1920 series are developed on the basis of HPE 1910 devices. They are equipped with wide feature set which increase reliability and reduce energy consumption.
Expanded security aids: access control lists, IEEE 802.1x and a virtual LAN, protect network from undesirable or unauthorized access.
Management tools security allow to limit access to important settings and also provide several levels of privileges with protection by means of the password and support of the protected protocol HTTP (HTTPS).
HPE OfficeConnect 1420
OfficeConnect 1420 is a line of uncontrollable switches for connection of Gigabit Ethernet (from 5 to 24 gigabit ports) without preset tuning and management. The product line is focused on small businesses.
On October 20, 2016 the Hewlett Packard Enterprise company announced formation of a line of solutions for small business – HPE OfficeConnect.
As a part of a series nine models for gigabit connections with different opportunities, including PoE support + for power supply of IP devices, fiber optic connections and the ascending connections 10G for connection to servers and storage systems. All models work silently due to the lack of fans in the cooling system of internal power supplies, are equipped with means of the automated operation.
Devices are suitable for peer-to-peer networks where basic switching of the second level is required.
Half-duplex and full-duplex operation modes with automatic detection of speed twice povyif.n capacity of each[1].
Model 1420-24G-2SFP with SFP ports for the ascending connections is suitable for fiber optic gigabit networks. For networks 10GbE it is recommended to use model 1420-24G-2SFP + with SFP+ ports for the ascending connections 10G.
Models with support of Power over Ethernet technology (PoE+) increase efficiency of infrastructure by means of power supply of IP telephony devices, wireless access points and surveillance cameras without costs for additional cables.
Devices can be installed on a desktop or to mount in racks.
Switches of the HPE OfficeConnect 1420 series are ready to work and do not require additional setup and permanent management.
Traffic priorities according to the IEEE 802.1p standard and other mechanisms of service quality (QoS) help to optimize traffic handling and to implement priorities of DSCP (points of the code of the differentiated services).
HPE OfficeConnect 1950
OfficeConnect 1950 is a series of switches with web management, PoE technology and support of Gigabit Ethernet.
OfficeConnect 1950 devices can be equipped from 24 to 52 ports: 48 ports PoE + Gigabit 10/100/1000, 2 ports 10GBASE-T and 2 SFP+ ports. Static routing of the third level under protocols IPv4 and IPv6, lists of access control (ACL), authorization in networks 802.1X is provided. Energy potential of PoE+: 370 W. Full consolidation in a stack.
As a part of a series two standard models and two models with PoE support + in a configuration with 24 and 48 GbE ports. Each device is equipped with two ports 10GBASE-T and two ports 10G SFP + with high capacity.
Each model of switches of the HPE 1950 series provides four connections 10GbE for connection to servers, network attached storages or other switches.
Two connections 10GBASE-T provide communication with speed of 10 Gbps using copper cables of category 6a, guaranteeing simplicity, availability and high capacity for connections at distance to 100 meters.
Two ports SFP+ for fiber optic connection at different distances with a speed of 10 Gbps or 1 Gbps and use of transceivers of SFP+ of 10 Gbps or SFP Gigabit.
The LACP protocol allows to integrate connections 10GbE, increasing capacity of the channel.
Logical consolidation (or "stacking") four switches of the HPE 1950 series and management by them as a uniform object is supported that simplifies administration of network. Modules in a stack connect on channels 10GbE, providing the general capacity 40GbE.
Intuitive web interface.
Devices are compatible to SNMP technology of versions 1, 2c and 3.
The NTP protocol facilitates time management in network, provides timely execution of operations and synchronization of magazines.
Devices automatically receive the IP address from the DHCP server that provides very fast deployment.
Switches of the HPE 1950 series allow to use virtual local area networks (VLAN) and access control lists for installation of restrictions for access for users to data.
The combination of technology 802.1X and the RADIUS server will allow to exclude unknown and unauthorized users
Safety features protect network from the attacks or unauthorized access with simulation of these servers or users.
Switches of the HPE 1950 series support the Spanning Tree Protocol, Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol and Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol protocols for elimination of loops in networks with excess connections.
Modules in a logical stack can be located even in different buildings.
Devices allow to create two independent a flash image of the operating system (primary and secondary) for backup and recovery when updating the equipment.
Models with support of Power over Ethernet (PoE) can be used in combination with additional standby systems of a power supply which support a power supply even at failure of the main unit and also provide a power supply of PoE with a power up to 780 W.
