Xamarin is the platform of mobile application development for creation of native applications iOS, Android and Windows from the general C# or .NET code.
The product helps to reuse between platforms from 75% to nearly 100% of the code. The applications written using Xamarin and C# have full access to the API interfaces of a reference platform and an opportunity to create native user interfaces, to compile the code in machine.
In February, 2013 there was a version of Xamarin 2.0.
On May 28, 2014 version 3.0 of building tools is released.
Part of a system is the Xamarin.Forms tool. It helps to create the user interface from a set of the visual elements described on a markup language of XAML which is displayed in visual elements of the corresponding operating system (Android, iOS and Windows Phone).
