DPC of SDDC - technology for creation software-defined data processing center (DPC).
On October 28, 2016 the LANIT-Integration company announced submission of the technological solution on creation of a software-defined data processing center.
The product is created on the platform of the server hardware Technoprom and the software of virtualization Rosplatforma.
The provided product consists of three modules: server and network equipment from the company "Technoprom", the software Rosplatforma. Integration of these components turns the hardware into the hyper convergent WebScale-platform available in the form of additional options, blocks of automation and self-service on the basis of technologies OpenNebula or OpenStack, at choice.
At the heart of hyper convergence consolidation of three components - a server part, network and storages, in one standard unit – the server of architecture x86. If earlier an intellectual part (for example, replication of data) was processed by means of the specialized equipment, then now all acts on the software basis.
The solution can be used and as a budget alternative to classical options of server virtualization, and as the full-fledged cloud program configured environment for any types of tasks: with installation automation, monitoring of observance of the agreement on the level of providing service (SLA, Service Level Agreement), capacity planning.
