Content

On October 31, 2016 the 1C: Automation company announced end of system implementation of "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8 CORP" in JSC Tuapse Sea Trade Port (JSC TMTP).

Project Tasks

For timely and quality services, the enterprise needs to support the high level of qualification of employees, to timely plan and control passing of specialized training events by them and to create a talent pool.

Earlier for personnel management and payroll in the company several information systems most of which part was unique developments of specialists of JSC TMTP were used. Programs were not completely synchronized among themselves, the same data are the information about the employees put by it charges, a worked time - HR specialists had to duplicate manually in several different programs. For example, sheets were filled out with method of continuous registration, deviations of working time were fixed manually on the basis of paper copies of personnel orders; calculation of time-rate pay of work was executed on the basis of the data on a worked time manually transferred to the program from paper copies of sheets. There were errors and discrepancies. Accounting of insurance policies and also applications for sanatorium treatment, accounting of financial support and decisions of the social commission was not automated. Preparation of the reporting for company management and regulatory authorities required manual consolidation of data from several accounting systems that was labor-consuming and took a lot of time.

The information system which would help to exclude double entry of data was required for the enterprise uniform for all divisions, to accelerate payroll taking into account specifics of work of the enterprise, to simplify formation of the internal and regulated reporting, to provide timely and reasonable providing to employees social guarantees, privileges and compensations, to optimize selection and personnel development and also formation of a talent pool.

Choosing a Solution

For the solution of assigned tasks the "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8 CORP" system, edition 3.0 was selected. The 1C: Automation company which already had experience of automation of the stevedoring companies became the partner in implementation.

Project Results:

  • A system integrated work of HR specialists, department of work and the salary, the staff of financial and accounting service and timekeepers. It helped to get rid of duplication of functions between departments and excluded double entry of data. Significantly preparation of the reporting under personnel became simpler and accelerated. To create the report for the management or regulatory authorities employees should not collect information from different programs more. Up-to-date data about salary and to the related taxes and also different analytical reports help the management to develop new solutions for effective management of personnel, more accurately to plan expenses on compensation and talent pools.
  • Payroll is provided to employees taking into account different criteria - the applied technology schemes, an experience, actually hours worked, including hours fulfilled in special working conditions (emergency, abnormal and storm conditions, etc.). Calculation of a remaining balance of holidays for work in harmful working conditions and also calculation of additional insurance premiums and accounting of an experience of the employees occupied at works with early pension is automated. Timely payroll and performing payments for 1700 employees and veterans of port is provided.
  • Calculation and dividend payout and also accounting of taxes on the paid dividends for more than two thousand shareholders is automated.
  • A system allows to keep accurate accounting of the employees given about qualification, to plan and control passing of professional development course by them. It allows to plan training costs of employees, to support the overall professional grade of personnel at the high level.
  • Accounting of harmful production factors in workplaces is automated. It helps the management to estimate a possibility of admission of employees to the corresponding work types and also need of passing of medical examinations by them. Operational planning of medical examinations and control of their passing is provided.
  • Accounting of statements of workers on the direction on sanatorium treatment, and also decisions of the social commission is organized. It helps to control justification and timeliness of providing to employees of social services of sanatorium treatment and improving rest.

"The system created on the basis of the solution "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8 CORP" helped us to unify and optimize business processes, to refuse duplication of functions between departments regarding registration of personnel orders and a time recording. The efficiency of reporting is increased, for example, necessary information on wage fund can be obtained in coordination with an average number now.
