For the Moscow center of quality of education mobile application of virtual laboratory is developed

By request of state autonomous educational institution of DPO "Moscow Center of Quality of Education" the NEOLANT group developed mobile application for functioning of virtual laboratory and accomplishment of four tasks in a format of virtual reality.

Project Objectives:

  • Stimulation of interest of school students in the training program.
  • Simplification and acceleration of learning process.
  • Increase in efficiency of control of assimilation of a training material.

Within the project specialists of NEOLANT Group developed:

  • Mobile application based on the cross-platform game Unity engine.
  • A control interface for the teacher.
  • Interactive video content under the headset of virtual reality Samsung Gear VR.

Using Samsung Gear VR glasses pupils had an opportunity to perform four laboratory works – on measurement of free fall acceleration on the unknown planet, to calculation of the period of fluctuation of the pendulum, determination of density of unknown liquid and determination of a sphere with the greatest density. Now pupils will be able to go deep as much as possible into studying of physical laws using virtual reality, and the teachers will be able to estimate their research skills and abilities already in absolutely new format.

Upon termination of the project it was demonstrated results on conference call in the Moscow Department of Education. Within demonstration it was offered to directors of schools and pupils to perform laboratory work in a format of virtual reality. According to the results of performance of work from participants exclusively positive reviews and an appreciation were received.
