ABI Product joined in a cloud

On November 8, 2016 the company Softline announced an implementation project in IT infrastructure holding ABI PRODUCT IaaS from ActiveCloud.

Project Tasks

ABI PRODUCT suffered a shortage of own IT resources for stress testing of applications, relevant for the fast-growing and geographically distributed companies. And as further building of expensive physical infrastructure was represented inexpedient, the decision - to use cloud resources was made.

As the IT partner on a competitive basis selected ActiveCloud company, she offered cloud infrastructure, optimal at cost.

The choice of IaaS from ActiveCloud became for ABI PRODUCT the final stage of transition to hybrid model of IT infrastructure within which own server hardware and virtual computing powers in a cloud of provider is used.

Project Results

Virtual infrastructure of ActiveCloud helps the customer to integrate own equipment with virtual machines in a cloud by means of the broadcasting transmission method of data. The applications started on own and virtual servers ABI PRODUCT work equally quickly and steadily.

During cooperation with ActiveCloud ABI PRODUCT increased the number of the rented virtual machines from 7 to 32. As soon as our IT specialists were convinced of reliability of service, they began to apply it to fast configuring of test environments in which new features of key business applications of the company are checked actively: accounting 1C and ERP- systems Microsoft Dynamics AX. As a result of an innovation, being one of the most important competitive advantages of holding, are implemented much quicker. The private cloud based on technologies of VMware which got support of new high-speed DWH using SSD Flash technologies recently became for ABI PRODUCT company an optimal solution. It allows to carry out quicker tests and to make decisions on their termination that it reduces time and monetary expenditure.
