Company

The Unicom company is one of leaders of the Russian market of automobile goods. The company is engaged in distribution of autogoods in the territory of all Russian Federation (November, 2016).

History

2013

The distribution warehouse in Novosibirsk is open.

2011

The distribution warehouse in Moscow is open. The company joined the largest European purchasing Group Auto group.

2010

15-year anniversary of the company. The branch in Krasnodar is founded.

2008

The construction of a new central distribution warehouse in Vladivostok is completed. The foundation is laid for strategic partnership with NHK.

2008-2013

During this period priorities in development of the company are displaced towards increase in efficiency and sales increase in the existing markets. It leads to a number of changes in the system of work and in structure of the company. For the purpose of establishing more rhythmical work on customer service in an area of coverage of branches representations are created. In 2012 and 2013 representations in St. Petersburg, Perm, Chelyabinsk, Barnaul, Omsk, Kemerovo, Tomsk, Novokuznetsk, Abakan, Blagoveshchensk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur are open.

The company continues to develop in the same commodity directions generally due to increasing cooperation with the existing partners, but expands a commodity portfolio due to start of new groups of goods and development of the range of average price level.

As a result the range of the company increases from 10 to 20 thousand names. Besides, the company decides to change essentially the assortment strategy and enters the market of spare parts for the European and Korean cars. Taking into account this solution in a portfolio of the company there were such brands as RUVILLE, FRAM, TEXTAR, CONTITECH, NK, VDO and also the range within the brands KYB, Denso, Avantech was expanded.

Own brand of autoaccessories iSky is created and registered.

The staff of the company grew to 400 people.

2007

The branch in Krasnoyarsk is founded.

2006

The branch in Yekaterinburg is founded.

2005

The company celebrated the 10 anniversary.

2004

Branches in Moscow and Irkutsk are founded.

2002

The branch in Novosibirsk is founded.

2001-2007

When the economic situation in Russia became again favorable, the company developed the new program of active development including mastering of the market of the Japanese auto parts, removal on the market of new brands and also development of regional network of sale. As a result of implementation of this program in a commodity portfolio of the company there were large and known brands which began to be delivered on the basis of exclusive agreements with producers. These brands of steel Nitto, Koito, TCL, NHK, Sumitomo/ADVICS, URW, KP, THO. Then distribution of such Japanese brands as DENSO, KYB, SUN, HKT, Bando, Koyo, FCC, Exedy, Seiwa, TAMA, QSTEN, 555, Toyo, Maruichi, Tokai, NPR, Aisin and others began. During this period the company successfully brings to the market together with the Korean producers a brand of summer and winter brushes of Avantech window wipers and in the years ahead expands the range of medium-priced spare parts under this brand. In parallel the company expands the range of aksessuarno-chemical groups that led to emergence of the G'ZOX, INNO, AION brands. Own branch network intensively developed in this period. Such development corresponded to our principles of permanent increase in level of customer service and active promotion and sale of the wide range of goods. Implementation of planned activities gave a strong impulse to development of the company, having provided dynamic growth due to repeated increase in the range and active expansion of regional distribution. The staff of Unicom grew from 25 to 200 people.

2000

In assortment of the company The Furukawa Battery accumulators appeared.

1998

Beginning of development of the direction of the Japanese goods. The brands Car Mate, Soft99, EIKOSHA became the first.

1997

In Khabarovsk the first branch of the company is founded.

1996

Sales of care products behind the Kangaroo cars started.

1995: Creation of the company

The Unicom company is founded in April, 1995. The first experience showed prospects of market development of autogoods especially as at that time Vladivostok where there began the work the company, quickly became the main automobile center of the Far East and Siberia.

At development of vendor relations and clients the company was always guided by their long-term character, having been the basis for the activity delivery of goods of the extra quality from the most famous producers. Following the strategy of expansion of the range, the company was not limited to the Korean auto accessories and covers on seats with which began business, and one of the first entered the market of the Japanese producers of autogoods. It is active to be carried out work on implementation of permanent direct procurements at producers to the same start time. Already then great efforts on expansion of distribution of goods and their active promotion were made that demanded from the company of essential costs. These efforts were not vain. Business dynamically developed, and suppliers saw in the company of the reliable partner and distributor of their goods who can entrust exclusive rights on goods. As a result the Unicom company became the world's largest client at a number of producers, and brands of steel producers leaders in the Russian market. Besides, the company provided consistent focus on development of customer relations in the spirit of partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation. The goods delivery to the client, providing certificates and other allowing documents, active promotion of goods in media – here not the complete list of what already then became for this purpose.

Having opened branch in Khabarovsk, the company began mastering of the regional markets.
