Toy Store completed integration of points of sale with ERP from SAP

On November 15, 2016 the Pilot company announced project completion of integration of points of sale of retail network of Toy Store with SAP. In the project the Profi-T technology is used.

Toy Store replaced providing a back office with the technological solution from SAP. that caused need of integration of the software package "Profi-T" for communication of cash desks of shops of network with the IT platform of the central office of the company.

Project Progress

Pilot was developed by employees infrastructure of import and export of data. This project was interesting, mainly, because earlier we had not to make integration with SAP — clients of the company did not use it as a back office. One more difference of this project was that we involved the mechanism of finishing large volume of information from the central office of Toy Store to cash desks. The commodity reference books reflected from the central office of Toy Store to each cash desk contain up to one million positions. To cope with processing, optimization of internal procedures of the software of "Profi-T" was required.

When developing mechanisms of integration the broad spectrum of technological solutions is used by means of what it was succeeded to construct the technology layer having necessary flexibility, functionality and performance between SAP and "Profi-T".

Project Results

The functionality and flexibility were reached at the expense of technology standards on the basis of web technologies. And the basis of performance was formed by solutions of Pilot company, long-term existence proved the viability and continuing development within the Profi-T system.
