On November 21, 2016 the Raidix company announced delivery of storage systems to film company "White Band".
Project Tasks
The film company "White Band" is engaged in production of feature films, series and TV programs, provides the film-making and lighting equipment, video-tape editing hardware in lease.
DWH of Raidix for this project is delivered in 2013, as of November, 2016 the company expands the volume of storage and upgrades the operating infrastructure.
One of the main objectives of post-production in "A white band" - ensuring high-speed access to the stored video records, with the minimum investments.
For video-tape editing solving of tasks, the high-performance storage system with connection via iSCSI interface to workstations on Windows platforms and Mac OS, a software maintenance from AVID, Autodesk, Blackmagic Design, Sony, Apple and other producers was required for department of post-production.
Project Progress
DWH of Raidix conformed to performance requirements, provided simultaneous processing of content by means of a set of workstations and the optimal environment for professional applications.
In film company "White Band" the hardware and software system Raidix is delivered:
- capacity of storage from 2U/48TB to 4U/108TB,
- possibility of installation of additional disk shelves,
- high performance in RAID 7.3
- support of several flows of 2K/4K-video.
Project Results
The compatibility of program components with standard component parts h86-64 allowed to optimize Raidix arrays under specific objectives of studio and to reduce the total cost of system maintenance.
