Siemens Atellica COAG 360 (hemostasis analyzer)

On November 22, 2016 the Siemens Healthineers company announced completely automated Atellica COAG 360 coagulometer. The producer calls it the system first in own way capable to conduct five basic researches of a system of a hemostasis.

Atellica COAG 360 supports klottingovy (optical and optical-mechanical), chromogene, immunological, aggregation and immunoluminescent tests for carrying out routine and special researches. Thanks to such multifunctionality the new solution will be able to replace three separate systems, said in the message of Siemens Healthineers.

In Atellica COAG 360 intellectual reagents and management systems for supplies among which — continuous loading and unloading of tests, monitoring in real time, etc. are used.

According to developers, in comparison with other coagulometers in the market the new model issues analysis results of any samples quicker and better diagnoses violations of a hemostasis and also differs in presence of highly sensitive technology of the immunoanalysis and a possibility of a research of aggregation of platelets.

Having integrated five technologies in one platform — for the first time for the hemostasis analyzer, a system allows to reduce manual processes, work and expenses, having saved thereby competitiveness of laboratory — the president of division of laboratory diagnostics of Siemens Healthineers Franz Walt says. — It also provides to specialists in researches of a system of a hemostasis control and simplicity thanks to what they can focus on improvement of business and clinical results and spend less time for management.

On November 22, 2016 the Siemens Atellica COAG 360 system went on sale in Europe. The equipment price at the time of its announcement is not set.^[1]
