Obukhovski Plant completed automation of accounting of parts and assembly units

On November 22, 2016 the Informkontakt company announced an implementation project of a system of accounting of the movement of semi-finished products on section "Accounting of the movement of parts and assembly units" on JSC GOZ Obukhovski Plant.

Project Tasks

It was required to provide transparent accounting of the movement of semi-finished products and ready DSE between workshops. Accounting was complicated by scales – industrial complexes, divisions and workshops:

• mechanical,
• assembly,
• foundry
• woodworking.

• thermal.

The large volume of the nomenclature which part was not registered in the uniform reference book – by the time of the beginning of works a PDM system was not in full operated.

Before no automation in production workshops existed. All account was kept in paper magazines and delivery notes.

Project Progress

As means of "small automation" the scanner of barcodes is used. As technology - "Alfa System".

The route sheet forms the manager of workshop in the Alfa System on each started batch of DSE and comprises information on the nomenclature, the made quantity, accounting ciphers for reference of costs and a route – the consecutive list of workshops in which there will be a processing of DSE. For acceleration of accounting procedures on each route sheet the unique barcode identifying it in an information system is printed.

Scanners of barcodes are used to simplification of work. When sending DSE from workshop it is enough to carry out according to each route sheet by the scanner, and it will be included into the inventory – the summary document containing all sent sheets.

The manager responsible for receipt of DSE in workshop (section of workshop), having received accompanying documents together with DSE, scans the arrived route sheets, and in a system the fact of receipt of DSE in its area of responsibility is automatically confirmed.

Project Results

For November 22, 2016 scanners of barcodes equip the majority of jobs of the specialists keeping the actual account of the movement DSE – managers of workshops, sections, storekeepers.

As a result of execution of works on the Accounting of the Movement DSE block it was succeeded to organize a production information system which allows to obtain in real time information on the material which is actually written off in production, the location of procurement or a part on slada of workshops and sections and also about the fact of production of DSE, control of Quality Department and their movement.
