Rostec opened the perinatal center in Ufa

On November 25, 2016 the State Corporation Rostec transferred to the possession of the government of Bashkortostan the perinatal center in Ufa on 130 beds. The center is equipped with the latest medical equipment, equipped with comfortable restrooms and Wi-Fi. The total cost of construction of the facility was 1.9 billion rubles.

In the clinic expected 130 beds, residents of Bashkiria will be able to receive highly skilled medical care, including intensive therapy and nursing of children with extremely low body weight and children with congenital pathologies. First of all work of medical institution will be directed to decrease in infantile and maternal death rate.

According to the order of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin of March 4, 2014 the State Corporation Rostec is defined by the customer of design, construction, equipping and commissioning of the perinatal centers in 15 territorial subjects of the Russian Federation. The corporation acts as the participant of the Program of development of the perinatal centers in the country along with the Russian Ministry of Health, Federal Compulsory Health Insurance Fund and executive authorities of territorial subjects of the Russian Federation.

"Opening in Ufa of the new modern perinatal center – an important event not only for Ufa residents and residents of Bashkiria, but also for all who took part in its construction. The center is equipped with the most advanced equipment, – the CEO of State Corporation Rostec Sergey Chemezov reported. – In December the perinatal center in Orenburg will be put into operation, objects are at Bryansk, Dagestan and Ingushetia also at high readiness. Other centers will be equipped and transferred to state-owned property, according to the set diagram".

The state corporation started program implementation in 2014, the same year the perinatal centers were designed. For 2015 and 2016 there was a construction and the equipment of the perinatal centers and also the solution of many questions connected with administration of design and construction.

Financing of the project of the perinatal center in Ufa is performed from means of Federal Compulsory Health Insurance Fund and the Republic of Bashkortostan. Within project implementation Rostec received money in the form of target subsidies on which construction of this object was carried out. Upon completion of works the State corporation transferred the perinatal center and balances in cash to the possession of the region.
