The Anna Akhmatova Literary and Memorial Museum will digitize books

ELAR corporation delivered the planetary scanner of ELARSKAN A2-400 in Anna Akhmatova Literary and Memorial Museum. Using the equipment accounting documents and also objects of a museum meeting will be scanned – users will see their digital copies in the online directory.

In collection of the museum of Anna Akhmatova in Fountain House – more than 50 thousand units of storage. These are autographs of works of the poet, the letter and the telegram, reminiscence and a research; a unique collection of the documents connected with a name of Lev Gumilev; Iosif Brodsky's fund. The fund of graphic materials contains subjects to art interpretation of an image of Anna Akhmatova. In fund of the rare book of the museum – about 15 thousand units of storage, and it continues to be replenished. "First of all for digitization of books from this meeting ELARSKAN of A2-400 and also for scanning of accounting documentation of the museum will be used", - told the keeper of fund of documentary photographs Natalya Ryzhenok.

The fund of the rare book includes lifetime editions of the Russian writers and poets of the 19-20th centuries, including unique copies with an author's dung and records, dedicatory inscriptions, with the illustrations colored by hand and the printed on special paper with additional engravings, limited editions. A memorial part of a book collection of the museum is made by Anna Akhmatova, Lev Gumilev and Iosif Brodsky's private libraries. Unique editions of fund need careful and safe scanning which is provided to ELARSKAN of A2-400.
