On November 29, 2016, it became known about the introduction of SAP SuccessFactors human resources software at Microsoft. The new project continued long-term cooperation between American and German companies.
Under the terms of the agreement, Microsoft chose SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite (including SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central) to digitally transform its HR processes. Thanks to this solution, Microsoft plans to increase employee productivity, as well as achieve greater involvement in their work using mobile and cloud technologies. By the end of November 2016, Microsoft has a staff of about 114 thousand people.

By implementing SAP SuccessFactors, Microsoft continued to work with the German company. In October 2016, SAP selected the Microsoft Azure platform as the primary cloud service for SuccessFactors solutions.
