The State archive of Sevastopol will create digital copies of high-quality documents

In the State archive of the city of Sevastopol the Planskan ELAR planetary scanner S-600 is installed. The professional equipment for creation of high-quality digital copies of archive documents was supplied to organization by ELAR corporation.

In storages of the State archive of the city of Sevastopol more than 750 thousand funds, including the pre-revolutionary period are brought together. The earliest case on a paper basis which is stored in archive is dated 1794. Documents of the Balaklava monastery Of St. George in which there are autographs of admirals M.P. Lazarev, P.S. Nakhimov and other historic figures are especially valuable. The archive intends to withdraw unique and most demanded documents from circulation, having replaced them with digital copies.
