Karoperator Service was preferred by IaaS for the organization of an IT environment

On November 30, 2016 the IT-Grad company announced project completion of "The national database on cars" of Karoperator Group using an IaaS-cloud.

Project Tasks

The main objective of the project – creation of "The national database on cars". According to the project, NBDA all participants of car market – importers will be able to use, the dealer centers, insurance companies, banks, individuals. Project implementation required the organization of reliable infrastructure with high system availability owing to what there was a problem of search of the supplier of cloud services capable to fulfill the requirements from the customer.

In implementation process of NBDA, naturally, there was an infrastructure question. At the beginning of the existence in 2009 Karoperator Group began work on the servers, but gradually with business development accurate understanding came that increase in resources and service of the servers is noticeably more expensive of purchases of cloud services in the IaaS format with which it is possible to approach much more flexibly the used resources changing in due time a configuration of servers and the occupied disk space. For determination of the partner in the project, each of participants of tender received technical specifications, based on tender Karoperator Group signed the agreement with IT-Grad.

Project Results

Further work on creation and start of servers took place with the selected provider in the mode of the maximum support by means of specialists of IT-Grad so we did not face any problems or difficulties. Support was given qualified, competent and always helped to solve an assigned task. Especially successful was an idea with preliminary online training that allowed to understand very quickly and to begin to work productively with new service provider. At the moment Karoperator Group is happy with cooperation with IT-GRAD company. Besides, we decided on plans for transfer of all infrastructure of Karoperator on platforms of IT-GRAD. Today there is an approval of financial conditions. And also preparation of the crush-test of the main platform which we want to carry out for understanding of opportunities for work in the conditions of emergencies and blackout of the main platform is in process.
