Sabre Virtual Payments is a payment method of air tickets.
On December 7, 2016 the Sabre Corporation company announced creation of Virtual Payments technology for carrying out payments and settlement for the air tickets sold by agents of the company.
Sabre Corporation together with Conferma company integrated the solution of Sabre Virtual Payment for payment of air tickets in the Sabre Red Workspace platform.
The functionality for carrying out digital payments is offered as a standard payment method along with credit cards, cash payment and by checks, providing to the agencies, corporations and travelers flexibility when choosing a method of payment and reliability. Agents had an opportunity to create and use virtual cards within the operating process of the statement and payment of air tickets.
Integration of the payment instrument to solution providers for a MFA/back office and instruments of online armoring (OVT) will save from need to adapt business processes and to incur additional expenses.
The technological solution will help agents to increase efficiency of payment transactions and to reduce a fraud risk at the expense of an opportunity to set credit limits, to apply restrictions on dates and to define categories of outlets.
Sabre Virtual Payments can be used in the course of the statement of the ticket, registration of return or exchange. Besides, this payment method can remain in the client's profile when using the solution Sabre Profiles.
Traditional payment methods are integrated to high risk of a fraud and disclosure of information on corporate accounts and also require extra time on reconciliation of settlement. Now more protected and effective payment method of air tickets which is completely integrated into a basic process of armoring of services in Sabre Red Workspace and Sabre APIs is available to the agencies connected to Sabre.
