2016: Announcement

In December 2016, as part of the 102 annual congress of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), Siemens Healthineers announced the Multix Fusion Max digital X-ray system. The manufacturer considers its main advantages to be high indicators of image reliability and quality, as well as cost reduction for medical institutions.

Savings are achieved by increasing the capacity of the office, quickly conducting research, uninterrupted operation and reducing training costs.

Siemens Healthineers unveils Multix Fusion Max X-ray machine

Multix Fusion Max can be used in conjunction with other X-ray machines, thereby minimizing equipment downtime and implementing a backup system that can be effectively used throughout the clinic or medical center.

Multix Fusion Max allows general X-ray examinations, diagnosis of injuries to certain parts of the body, chest screening, etc. The whole body can be shot both longitudinally and transversely.

The device supports the transition from analog to digital shooting using the Multix DR-Upgrade package. The position of the tube is automatically synchronized with the position of the detector on the table or vertical rack. The tube can be lowered to the feet of patients due to a large range of movement (up to 180 cm).

The manufacturer draws attention to the high image contrast achieved using DiamondView Plus technology. Automated selection of image processing parameters based on programs for different organs is provided. MAXcharge prevents the workflow from being interrupted due to a low battery.

At the time of the announcement of the Multix Fusion Max, Siemens Healthineers did not name either the estimated cost of the product or the timing of the start of deliveries.[1]
