Infor Mobility for Field Service

Mobility for Field Service is technology for the mobile equipment used by technical specialists in field conditions.

On December 12, 2016 the Infor company announced release of Mobility for Field Service — solutions for the mobile equipment focused on use in field conditions.

Infor MFS of version 15.6.2 is development of the design agency Infor "Hook and Loop". The solution transfers to the mobile device information on processes of operations department, specialized mobile to software for application in field conditions, it gives the chance to users of Infor M3, schedule system of corporate resources (ERP), to manage work assignments.

The application is intended for the solution of profile tasks. Using Infor MFS, in real time the companies will obtain operational data from the technical specialists that will help to accelerate process of drawing of accounts and to optimize cash flow.

Autonomous opportunities of the solution MFS allow technical specialists after effective solution of the tasks to synchronize operational data at gaining access to network resources. Thanks to bilateral integration with a management system for documentation of Infor Document Management, the staff of operations department can turn on in work assignments of the link to electronic documents (for example, drawings and the guides) that allows to open them for the technical specialists working in the field using mobile devices. The same way any pictures made by the technical specialist (for example, photos of damages to machinery), are automatically attached to a specific task and sent to the Infor M3 system for assessment by the staff of operations department.

As the organizations constantly extend and try to optimize the parks of the equipment, for them it is especially important to exclude decrease in working capacity because of fault of the equipment operated in field conditions. When developing Infor MFS we considered this problem therefore the new solution contains the necessary technology means allowing to distribute tasks to technical specialists in the shortest possible time that they could execute them as fast as possible and effectively. The latest version of the solution Infor MFS allows to interact with clients in 11 languages by means of different types of devices, including via tablets, PC on Windows, and supports Android (version 4.4 above), Windows (8.1 and above) and iOS (8.0 and above).
