2016: IBM deserved Forrester praise

On December 13, 2016 IBM announced recognition by her leader in the research The Forrester Wave: API Management Solutions, Q4 2016 which is carried out by Forrester Research company.

By drawing up the report the integrated assessment consisting of 27 criteria was used. It helps specialists in development and delivery of applications to select the most optimal platform of management of API depending on the requirements. Platforms of management of API were estimated by such parameters as the current offers, strategy and presence in the market.

In the report of researchers it is mentioned that from the moment of the last assessment of Forrester of this area, IBM rebuilt the solution on management of API taking into account acquisition of StrongLoop and created the unified solution for creation and management of API using Node.js. Besides, the Micro Gateway component provides the expansion focused on the developer for management of API.
