Honeywell Performance is a line of IP video cameras and network video recorders (NVR).

2019: 4 Megapixels of the H4W4PER2 IP camera

On January 16, 2019 the company "ARMO-Systems" reported that in a product portfolio Honeywell there were vandal proof 4 Megapixels IP- the cameras H4W4PER2 for round-the-clock video monitoring the street or not heated objects. These cameras differ in support of formats of compression H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264, use the True WDR function (120 dB), have a card slot of memory with a capacity up to 128 GB.

As noted in ARMO-Systems, the camera automatically adapts to any conditions of lighting and is capable to transfer informative video at osveshchennost to 0.03 lx, and for video surveillance is supplied with IK-illumination which can be activated both manually, and automatically. Range of illumination reaches 45 meters, and its "uniformity" is provided with the Smart IR function. H4W4PER2 uses WDR technology 120 dB which aligns brightness of all sections of a frame and also has functions of signal multiplication, BLC, HLC, 3DDNR and white balance control.

The dome camera supports H.265 formats and H.265+ in which video has the minimum weight and a noise level. H.265+ is based on technology of "smart" coding which selects moving and static objects in a frame and sets them different parameters of a compression. At the same time this anti-vandal dome IP camera can manage automatically broadcasting bitrate depending on time of day, for example, reducing it at night and raising in the afternoon. the 4-megapixel image the camera transfers with update rate to 20 fps, and 2 or 3 Megapixels video flows it can broadcast in real time, emphasized in ARMO-Systems.

The possibility of remote setup of focal distance of a lens (from 2.7 to 13.5 mm) and a viewing angle (from 28 ° to 104 ° in horizontal direction) provides the built-in servo actuator. If 5-fold optical increase is not enough, it is possible to use function digital 16x zoomings at which the maximum total image magnification reaches 80 krat. For more detailed video control of a scene the dome IP camera allows to select 4 areas of "interest" (ROI) which can be broadcast along with the main flow from a frame. In addition the systems of detection of the movement, violation of connection, attempts of unauthorized watching video and filling/failure of the local drive allow to increase security efficiency of H4W4PER2, noted in ARMO-Systems.

The diversity of installation of the camera is maintained by a set of optional brackets and accessories. In a basic complete set of H4W4PER2 is established by a laid on method on a wall, a ceiling or other surface, and cable wiring can be hidden using a special box of HQA-BB2 from this set. If necessary the anti-vandal IP camera can be complemented with HQA-PM2 bracket for its installation on a mast or HB34S2-CM – for installation at the corner of the building. In ARMO-Systems reported that the camera does not require laying of additional cables as it is powered not only directly from 12 V DC, but also via the RoE-switch, and its energy consumption at the included searchlight does not exceed 8.5 W. Protection of electronics and optics against dust, a rain, snow and fog is provided by a hermetic dome casing with class IP66. It conforms to IK10 standard as it is steady against blows to 20 Joules (it is equivalent to falling of 5 kg of a load from height of 0.4 m). The IP camera is efficient in the temperature range from-30 to +60 °C therefore it is suitable for the round-the-clock continuous video control of objects of different function, including on city streets, athletic fields, etc. For record and archiving of data of H4W4PER2 can use storage on networks, the memory card, network NVR of Honeywell HENxx2/HENxx4 brand or third-party producers at compliance of ONVIF, noted in ARMO-Systems.

For January, 2019 the 4-megapixel H4W4PER2 outdoor video surveillance cameras of the brand of Honeywell already appeared in the Russian market and are available at the retail price of 250 EUR.

2016: Exit of a line of IP video cameras and Performance video recorders

On December 13, 2016 under a brand of Honeywell there was a line of IP video cameras and IP video recorders (NVR). In it emphasis on security and protection against unauthorized penetration into network is put.

As a part of the Performance series network cameras of different permissions and video recorders on 4, 8 and 16 channels. All devices are integrated with products of other brands.

Performance IP cameras

IP video cameras of Honeywell of the Performance series are integrated, both with video recorders of this line, and with devices of third-party brands. Each of them is capable to broadcast to 2 video flows which are supported from NVR. The increased horizontal resolution allows to cover in a frame бóльшие the areas and to lower load of a video surveillance system.

In all cameras of the Performance series there is built-in adaptive IK-illumination which independently changes radiation intensity for the objects which are from the device at different distance. Servo actuators of a zoom lens and focusing, an opportunity to keep record on the memory card with a capacity up to 128 GB became an additional bonus of new products. If network connection with the video recorder is absent, the local memory is activated.

All varifocal cameras are supplied with the motorized lens. Digital image magnification is provided in models with the resolution of 3 Mp, all cameras in the dome body have a class of protection against humidity and IP66 dust.

Performance video recorders

In video recorders from Honeywell function of record from one camera on two disks, convenient management by means of the hardware Honeywell UltraKey keyboard appeared at once. All act with NVR of a series on the Linux Embedded operating system and make record on 4, 8 or 16 channels. The Performance video recorders support cameras with the resolution up to 5 Mp and a PoE-power supply of the connected IP cameras (totally to 130 W).

Security at the level of network

In the Performance series measures are taken for the maximum security of a system and prevention of unauthorized invasion of malefactors into network. In systems technologies are implemented:

• request of change of the password on user at the first input in the web interface;
• use of cryptographic protocols for data transmission;
• public key infrastructure of PKI;
• digest authentication for access to network;
• failure in installation of a firmware in case of lack of the electronic digital signature;
• shutdown of unsafe network ports and protocols;
• authentication of network with protocol 802.1x.
