Private cloud "in two clicks" – new opportunities of the solution DEPO Cloud Systems

According to a research of the market of cloud services in Russia of IDC Russia Cloud Services Market published by the international analytical company IDC this segment of IT market shows steady growth. IDC connects it with the general increase in demand for automation from the state and business and the fact that cloud computing is capable to meet the growing demand with the greatest efficiency. In a research it is noted that by 2020 the Russian market of cloud services will grow by 74.86% in comparison with 2015. The growing demand for implementation of cloud infrastructures creates special requirements to suppliers of hardware-software cloud platforms.

In 2016 DEPO Computers updated a line of DEPO Cloud Systems and considerably increased its performance and efficiency due to use of the newest technologies of the leading Russian and world IT vendors.

Solution architecture

The architecture of a line of DEPO Cloud Systems developed based on technologies of Intel company includes high-end servers of DEPO Storm and the selected DEPO Storage storage systems developed and which are manufactured in Russia on own production cluster of DEPO Computers. In new models of servers the latest Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v4 processors and also Intel® C612 chipset with support of 16 or 24 slots of memory, 3 or 6 expansion slots, two or four the integrated network gigabit ports based on chipsets of Intel® i210 or Intel® i350, or two the integrated ten-gigabit ports RJ-45 based on Intel® X540 chipset are used. The maximum volume of the maintained memory is 512GB for configurations with 16 modules of memory of the DIMM and 768GB standard for payments with support of 24 modules DIMM.

Use of the latest Intel® technologies provides a considerable gain of performance of the new North in comparison with servers of the previous generation – on computing tasks to 80%, on applied tasks up to 60%. The architecture of new solutions of a line of DEPO Cloud Systems is developed and optimized for the maximum use of all advantages of Intel® technologies.

Depending on the size of infrastructure and necessary level of fault tolerance of a private cloud, customers of DEPO Cloud Systems can select several versions of the DEPO Storm servers based on Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v4 processors and two options of a software platform of virtualization and management of a private cloud. Both platforms provide management and monitoring of a hardware platform and the software and also high availability of applications and services.

Distinctive feature of the standard solutions DEPO Cloud Systems is the possibility of simple building of resources of the virtualized server framework which can be seen off in process of emergence of resource requirement for ensuring growth of business. The basic set of DEPO Cloud Systems allows to reduce the cost of the solution at a starting stage of creation of a private cloud.

Solutions of a line DEPO Cloud Systems are delivered in the form of the hardware and software systems, completely ready to work, including a server and switching equipment, storage systems, the software of virtualization and management and also necessary engineering infrastructures are server racks or cabinets, the systems of uninterrupted power, cooling and physical security. Besides, customers can always select solutions option of "turnkey" delivery.

At the heart of solutions of a line there are a hardware-software complex based on the DEPO Storm servers, DEPO Storage storage system, a high-speed switching core and completely configured by software of virtualization and management. Depending on the size of IT infrastructure of the customer, DEPO Computers offers several versions of standard solutions for implementation of a private cloud:

  • DEPO Cloud Systems 1000 — up to 100 jobs
  • DEPO Cloud Systems 2000 — from 100 to 250 jobs
  • DEPO Cloud Systems 3000 — from 250 to 500 jobs
  • DEPO Cloud Systems 4000 — from 500 to 1000 jobs
  • DEPO Cloud Systems 7000 — from 1000 jobs
