On December 19, 2016 the press service of MegaFon company announced implementation in capital branch of a system of automatic optimization of network.

Project Tasks

It is expected that a system will allow to watch in the round-the-clock mode a cellular network, to react quickly to changes of loading, to reveal and fix the arising problems.

We are glad to announce the beginning of work with colleagues from CellMining: the product offered by them has very big flexibility in this connection we quickly had an opportunity to adapt and finish their algorithms at deployment of this technology on network of the Moscow region. I am sure that this technological solution will help us to manage effectively quality on the scale of all network, it means that round the clock and almost instantly we will react to possible non-staff situations, providing to our clients the best voice service and data transmission.

Signing of the contract with CellMining was preceded by long tender and testing of different SON solutions of leading manufacturers, including suppliers of network infrastructure. Support of the equipment of different suppliers and all technologies of Megafon network from the company vendor became one of key factors in making decision on cooperation. Readiness to implement the intelligent energy saving modules allowing to reduce operating costs of the operator by selective deceleration of power of cells at the low level of traffic without risk of quality degradation of communication became additional benefit.
