ABBOT

The Ministry of Defence will protect headquarters and sensitive sites the ABBOT complex which will suppress the wireless networks of information transfer (WNIT) of the opponent and will make the Russian communication channels absolutely invisible. The system developed by group MUSK closes insuperable protecting noises all wireless communication links, having left available very narrow band of frequencies on which it is possible without threat of listening to transfer voice and video messages and also to communicate.

Among key features of the ABBOT system It should be noted that in a product functions of formation of a noise as "protecting", i.e. in all frequency spectrum of the standard, and "aim", i.e. at specific frequencies (channels) and also setting of a disturbance signal with the perspective frequency ranges of BSS in the territory of the Russian Federation are put (up to 7 GHz). Besides, a system allows to change by software customization forms and types of a disturbance signal, under perspective standards of communication. The developed system is constructed on modularity that does a product to the most attractive in terms of the feasibility statement under specific radio an object situation and also in terms of survivability and maintainability of a system in general. The implemented technical solutions in a product, in total with a control interface, setup and control provides a full-fledged and reliable picture of work of a product in a real mode of time.

The ABBOT system is constructed on use of the blocking modules 0.25 m wide and 0.3 m long using which it is possible to suppress communication in the territory with a radius up to 1 km. At most 7 devices for setting of noises in different frequency ranges enter the complex constructed on modularity. Small dimensions of modules and control block allow to perform the flush mounting in pieces of furniture, niches, false ceilings, hollow walls.

"ABBOT" is several miniature blocking modules which length does not exceed 30, and width — 25 cm. The complex can include up to seven such devices, each of which puts noises in a certain frequency range. Modules are connected to control block which reminds the small system unit of the computer. Thanks to the small sizes components of "ABBOT" can is reserved to be established in subceiling space, under facing of walls or in furniture, without drawing attention.

"ABBOT" passed all tests, having confirmed the put characteristics — the representative of group told Izvestia MASCOM Denis Skoritsky. — Now a system is provided to the Ministry of Defence, we conduct negotiations on its delivery. At the same time the complex is already used on objects of some other the Russian law enforcement agencies^[1].

According to the interlocutor of the edition, the complex is capable not only to suppress completely wireless communication in the ranges now in use, but also to take perspective standards of communication which full-scale application will begin only after 2018. Including so-called networks of standard 5G.

The principle of work of "ABBOT" is rather simple. As a rule, for information transfer traditional espionage microphones and video cameras use wireless networks which are suppressed by the device. But the greatest danger is constituted by products - "intelligence agents" who independently look for BSPI, crack them and get an information access.

The Russian complex "presses" a powerful noise practically all frequency range, leaving very narrow segment which serves for exchange of information. Detect such corridor modern espionage scanners impracticablly. For its search in protecting noises "bugs" just will not have time and computing opportunities. And considering that information which is transferred on a segment is ciphered, to crack it even if the opponent managed to calculate frequency, impracticablly.

"ABBOT" is capable to eliminate completely wireless communication links not only in a separate office, but also in the whole building and even small military unit — the modules of suppression carried on perimeter allow to leave the territory with a diameter up to 500 m without communication.

Now in the world such systems are a trunk way of development of data protection — the military historian Dmitry Boltenkov tells Izvestia. — Tests and implementation of such products go practically worldwide. But Russia traditionally is in the lead in the field of creation of means of radio-electronic fight and protection. Therefore the Russian developments always differ in high characteristics and original technical solutions.
