The competence center on smart technologies of NSU will begin to use InfoWatch Appercut

The competence center signed on smart technologies of NSU at the end of 2016 the agreement with InfoWatch group on use of the Appercut software product. The product will be applied to quality evaluation of the code of qualification works of graduates of a bachelor degree and a magistracy of faculty of information technologies.

Progressive tense deal with problems of defensive programming in Novosibirsk State University at faculty of information technologies. The competence center on smart technologies (TsKST) of NSU conducts researches on development of models of safe software integration in information systems of the smart city.

The university decided to develop competences of graduates of FIT of this area: TsKST NSU reached the agreement with InfoWatch group upon use of the product Appercut for quality evaluation of a program code of qualification works of graduates of a bachelor degree and a magistracy of faculty of information technologies.

InfoWatch Appercut is the system of the automated control of the source code of business applications on compliance to requirements imposed to custom development

As the head of TsKST NSU Ruslan Permyakov, one of important aspects of use of the software of third-party producers in the cyberphysical systems and the systems of the smart cities — quality evaluation and security of the application for all system in general notes. Algorithmic errors which are present practically at any code difficult come to light in the automatic mode. A considerable part of cracking of computer systems of the large companies and enterprises is connected with these errors. In the near future the explosive growth of interest of customers in the software executed taking into account the principles of defensive programming is predicted.
