"The cargo terminal of Pulkovo" implemented technology of management of traffic flows in a warehouse

On January 11, 2017 the company the Cargo terminal of Pulkovo executed implementation of an electronic system of routing of loads of Neuroniq.

Project Progress

The Technologies of the Future company proposed the solution considering factors:

• the current cargo flow of the terminal (80 tons of a load, 200 runs a day),
• shortcomings of the existing automation system,
• operating conditions of a hardware complex,
• "bottlenecks" of warehouse processes,
• practice of prioritizing of clients and loads, etc.

During the project the functionality allowing to route in online regime of clients and loads is implemented by different methods to inform participants of process on the movement of a load on route and change of its status in a system, to differentiate client flows and types/classes of loads, to integrate a client zone and^[1] into a unified environment of service^[1].

The hardware component of the project is implemented based on the equipment of the Russian production adapted to object conditions. Interaction with the equipment which is already available for the customer is provided that gave the chance optimum to use the operating IT infrastructure and to reduce costs, specified in the company. Within a system the built-in tools of technical support are provided, using which the round-the-clock monitoring of operability of components of a complex is performed that increases reliability of a system and reduces terms of response to incidents.

Project Results

The expected effect of implementation of a logistics system — reduction of time expenditure on warehouse transactions for 15%, decrease in peak loads due to optimum allocation of flows, reduction of time of stay of client transport in the territory of the terminal for 20%.
