"Schwabe" implemented technology of "The smart city" in Nizhny Tagil

2020: Installation more than 9 thousand support of lighting, 15 thousand lamps and carrying out 455 km of networks of street lighting

On July 8, 2020 Rostec reported that it Schwabe holding implemented the contract of lifecycle on design, construction and maintenance of a system of city outside illumination of Nizhny Tagil. For July, 2020 in the city more than 9 thousand support of lighting are set, about 15 thousand lamps are mounted, 455 km of networks of street lighting are carried out and transferred to maintenance 9206 svetotochek.

UOMZ releases a big lineup of the energy saving LED equipment for equipping of objects of road and transport network, the urban environment and different types of premises. Production capacities of the plant allow to make annually about 50 thousand units of lighting products. Relying on positive experience of implementation of the Light City project in Nizhny Tagil, we express complete readiness for its further implementation in other regions of the country, – the CEO of UOMZ entering "Schwabe" Anatoly Sludnykh told.

Increase in efficiency of network of outside lighting of the city for 60% and reduction of vandalism by 1.5-3 times became result of already done work. The illumination level on a number of objects grew more than by 10 times, and the index of satisfaction of inhabitants with the urban environment – by 75%. 2018

On August 10, 2018 the Schwabe Holding of State Corporation Rostec provided the first in Nizhny Tagil complex of pedestrian navigation to the governor of Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev. According to the company, two more will appear in the city in the near future.

As it was reported, official start of information stele took place within the celebration of the 296 anniversary of the industrial center of the Urals. Showed to the governor work of basic functions of a complex – the button of an emergency communication with police, cards of sights and routes of city public transport. The device is developed for development of the Smart City project by specialists of the enterprise of Schwabe Holding – the Ural Optical & Mechanical Plant (UO\0MP).

It is the first pointer from three, presented to Nizhny Tagil at the Innoprom-2018 exhibition. It is placed into Theatre Square near the city administration building. Others will appear near the Fox mountain and at the memorial estate "Demidovsky Dacha".

According to representatives of the company, a complex of pedestrian navigation "Schwabe" – the electronic guide to the city with a set of additional opportunities: functions of a feedback with police, audio-and video monitoring of surrounding space, a call of the taxi and armoring of hotel, charging of the mobile device and connection to free Wi-Fi. The special covering reliably protects the hi-tech pointer from a heat, cold and external injuries.

We pay much attention to improvement of Nizhny Tagil and updating of its infrastructure. And such projects, certainly, promote increase in comfort of the urban environment. 2017

Within the ecosystem project "Smart City" Rostec implements the Light City project in Nizhny Tagil. In June, 2017 it became known that the state corporation reconstructs a lighting system of Nizhny Tagil and will construct in the city more than 5000 new svetotochek. The cost of works will be not less than 750 million rubles.

According to the project implementation plan in 2017 Rostec will equip with lighting engineering of 8 residential districts of Nizhny Tagil. Total length of construction sections will be 186.281 km. Along with installation of subjects to lighting during a current period works on their operation within the contract of lifecycle will be performed. Project implementation in Nizhny Tagil is enabled by Schwabe holding (enters into State Corporation Rostec).

"Construction of 5328 support of lines of outside lighting of the city which will be equipped with 10592 modern energy efficient lamps on the basis of LEDs is planned for 2017. In particular, reconstruction will concern the territory of a road network of Nizhny Tagil, including its central residential district", – the deputy CEO of Schwabe Ivan Ozhgikhin noted.

Among the first the settlements located in a northeast part of the city – Sukholozhsky, the Gold prospector, Keys and Rush will be equipped. On these sections 2294 new lamps will appear. Meanwhile, in the center it is going to set over 1500 units of lighting engineering. In 2017 the system of outside lighting will be also reconstructed in residential districts – the Bow, the Red Stone, Northern, the Vyya and GGM.

Nizhny Tagil is one of the key cities for State corporation: here production of one of the key enterprises of Rostec – NPK "Ural Carriage-Building Plant" is located. Development of infrastructure and increase in the standard of living in key regions is one of paramount tasks of Rostec within accomplishment of strategy till 2025.

Besides at the beginning of 2017 the Schwabe Holding of State Corporation Rostec showed to the mayor of Nizhny Tagil Sergey Nosov and representatives of city administration the automated control system for street lighting. This development allows to manage far off each lamp and to reduce quantity of the consumed electric power and operating costs by 30%.

The automated control system for street illumination of "Schwabe" was implemented in 2016 in Dzerzhinsky district the cities of Nizhny Tagil. It integrated more than 1500 svetotochek, equipped with modern energy efficient lamps of production of the enterprise of Schwabe Holding – Ural Optical & Mechanical Plant.

During the sightseeing tour specialists of Holding showed to the mayor of Nizhny Tagil Sergey Nosov and representatives of city administration of a possibility of the automated control system for street lighting who in real time could try the different modes of lighting for street lamps.

"Our system is controlled using the tablet with the installed special program. The possibility of the choice of the mode of lighting for each lamp is especially relevant on sections of roads with heavy traffic, crosswalks near child care facilities and in night-time. As trial operation in Nizhny Tagil showed, the system developed by specialists of Holding allows to reduce quantity of the consumed electric power to 30%", – the deputy CEO of Schwabe Ivan Ozhgikhin reported.

2014

In 2014 the administration of Nizhny Tagil and Schwabe Holding signed the contract for the amount of 9.37 billion rubles for execution of works on design, construction and maintenance of all system of city outside lighting for complete lifecycle – till December 31, 2042. Within a stage of construction "Schwabe" is going to set about 10.5 thousand support of outside lighting and 21 thousand lamps in Nizhny Tagil and also to construct not less than 10 integral transformer substations. These works will be completed until the end of 2018.
