Central Research Institute EISU ordered router software with functions of the network screen on the Elbrus platform

On January 19, 2017 it became known of the project of software development for a digital exchange and the multiprotocol router with functions of the network screen by request the Central scientific research institute of economy, information science and management systems (Central Research Institute EISU). The contractor in the project of Scientific Research Institute Masshtab.

Project Tasks

The Rostec state corporation intends to create the protected hardware and software system of network information exchange using the Russian Elbrus processors.

Within an assigned task, the Central scientific research institute of economy, information science and management systems (Central Research Institute EISU) selected 20 million rubles for software development. The contractor in a purchase format at the only supplier defines Scientific Research Institute Masshtab from St. Petersburg[1].

Central Research Institute EISU signed the agreement with Scale on December 30, 2016. Obligations under the project - in an interval between November 18, 2016 and on April 15, 2017.

In technical projects it is specified that Scale should create software for a digital exchange which will provide support of the IP telephony standards with the terminal equipment of a voice communication and the server of automatic telephone exchange. Should provide to software support of voice codecs and technology of a transport network TCP/IP. Settlement capacity of automatic telephone exchange at the same time will be not less than 1 thousand subscribers.

Among other requirements to software ensuring transfer of voice traffic on digital lines of Ethernet, implementation of a verification regime of RTP flows at broadcast of calls and in case of detection of loss of a data stream is specified, the device should break off compulsorily the current connection, having sent to both directions the corresponding messages (BYE), a possibility of configuring and setup of parameters of functioning using a web control interface, a possibility of appointment to internal subscribers of different classes of service and a possibility of providing or blocking to the subscriber of different basic functions. Software of automatic telephone exchange should have the graphical interface of management.

Software of the multiprotocol router with functions of the network screen should support technology of a transport network TCP/IP and provide capacity by transfer of the protected information at the level of not less than 500 Mbps.

Among requirements:

  • static and dynamic routing of packets,
  • functioning according to the IP protocols at the network and channel levels.

Regarding a software module of file synchronization and settings of cluster system of software should support function of the automated synchronization of settings in the VRRP domain. Network shielding of traffic by different parameters and a possibility of detection of network invasions with their further fixing into the magazine should provide software.
