The Eni implemented the instrument of adaptive control by technology transactions

On January 23, 2017 the AspenTech company announced implementation of Aspen DMC3 by request of Eni S.p.A company.

Project Results

The Eni implemented the software solution Aspen DMC3 with adaptive technology of industrial process control at oil refinery in Sannazzaro. This implementation reaches the effect calculated by millions of dollars a year due to advanced process control (ARS) at cost reduction on implementation and operational maintenance.

When the Eni constructed a technology object at oil refinery in Sannazzaro - ENI EST Slurry Unit which had an impact on work of all Refinery, Aspen DMC3 quickly returned all APC applications on the level of maximum capacity in the conditions of limited engineering resources. The Eni was succeeded to expand the number of APC, having implemented such systems on secondary support technology entities, for obtaining the maximum economic effects at all oil refineries.
