Symantec Advanced Threat Protection (ATP)

In the fall of 2016 Symantec entered the ostrokonkurentny market of protection against difficult constructed lasting attacks with the solution Symantec Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) which allows Var'am and their customers to detect, prioritize and eliminate threats with a scope of e-mail, client devices and all network, using the single administrative console.

The solution involves the existing security technologies of Symantec, including its extensive network of the analysis of threats. Also, it includes a cloud service of isolation and "detonation" of threats of Symantec Cynic for their elimination and the tool of point correlation with cross check of Symantec Synapse for bigger reliability of detection. The solution can be also implemented with a support on a cloud of Symantec Endpoint Protection & Email Security; then additional agents are not required. The company states that it already begins to observe fast acceptance by the market of this platform, and in May its order amount for 2017 was already 100 mln. dollars.
