Rostelecom began the project of creation of ontology

On January 30, 2017 the RCG company announced the beginning of the project of creation of ontology of PJSC Rostelecom.

Project Tasks

RC Group will provide a ten-year guarantee based on creation of ontology, having acquired the right to the contract on December 30, 2016 according to the results of the competitive electronic procedure. The company became the contractor of PJSC Rostelecom on the organization (upgrade) of management of basic data at enterprise of division "Service of management of the normative reference information". Within the project creation of ontology of PJSC Rostelecom on the basis of open technical vocabularies and processing according to it basic data is provided that will allow to configure more effectively the MDM solution on Oracle PIM.

Warranty obligations include annual updating of results of rendering services, including in new attributes for the approved templates.

The functional project orderer - purchasing department. Implementation of modern parametrical model of the description of data which for January, 2017 - only conventional and perspective (the defense industry, the contract system of state procurements, foreign sales catalogs), will allow PJSC Rostelecom to change tangible asset management qualitatively.

With implementation of the project reduction of number of adjustments in document flow, decrease in duplication of data is expected, tools of the effective organization of purchasing activity will appear.
